You don’t need to install any apps that needs to live on your phone until you finally decide to uninstall it

It doesn’t ask you for all kinds of permissions

You know the interface, it is not different from every app/website you visit where you just want to get basic information

The best bots are made to accept a user request at any time

The user can send actions/requests/feedback/support/questions all from the same input field

Feedback can be giving by just writing to the bot, either “thank you soo much” or “you suck” — you don’t have to look for a way to give feedback

You can send images and videos as responses

The 20th e-mail are heavy because all responses in e-mail clients are by default included, bot replies are lightweight

Facebook messenger clients works easily across all devices

Push notifications works across all devices, iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac (wauw, that this is something to highlight in 2018!)

Messages are not filled with large promotional images

It is easy to unsubscribe

Compared with your email address it can’t be sold to a third-party that sends spam without knowing who did it

When travelling Messenger is the tool that can work with the lowest bandwidth and get messages back and forth (trust me, I have travelled Galapagos and the Peruvian mountains!)

In the future, you will be able to speak to FB Messenger bots, when they finally take their time to do it,
